There is something new on my blog page....

There is something new on my blog page, can you find it? I really excited about it too. let me know if you see it. If not I will tell you in a day or two.....

It's not my haircut, even that is pretty new. Thought I would put a photo up of the stove me and my hubby put in. The slate behind it was all hand picked by us near a river. We brought it all home washed it several times. We then had the fun task of putting it all together. I just love how it turned out and it keeps us cozy and warm.

Thanks for stopping.

More fun with Patti's Kids....

How I wish I had a cat. I love cats, but i love the freedom of leaving home and not having to worry about animals. I guess you can't have it both ways.

This cat reminds me of one my mother-in-law had. He was a large grey cat that had a mind of his own. he would take off for days.

Stamp N Plus Scrap N has so many varieties of stamps it is hard to choose favorites. But, if I was to pick any it would be Patti's Kids and Iris Folding. This card is featuring another one of Patti's Kids. It is called Amy & Rascal. Rascal would have been a great name for my Mother-in-laws cat.

I used a grey paper that had texture to it and matted with the purple. I added the ribbon and two pearl hearts to finish it off. Amy and Rascal are done on vellum and colored with Stampin Up markers.

Hope you enjoy. Thanks for stopping. Love to hear from you.

Shaving Cream fun...

and what fun it is.

What a busy week I had, time just got away from me. I had a baby shower to go to and didn't even take a photo of the cute card I made. This week looks like it will be a little slower. Having lunch with a good friend tomorrow.

Well onto today's cards. Here it is.

This is another stamp that you can find at Stamp N Plus Scrap N. It is one of the Robar stamps. I just love all the kid stamps. This one is of a girl playing with her pail n the sand.
This card has a few different elements to it. I first took glossy card stock and dipped it into a mixture of ink and shaving cream. This is a fun technique as you never know what you will get till it is done. Then I stitched around the edges of the background papers. I added a few colorful buttons. Then added the work Thank You, which is another stamp from Stamp N Plus Scrap N.
Hope to have more time this week to play with my stamps. I love to hear your comments so feel free to let me know what you think. Thanks for stopping by.

Want to sing anyone?

I love to sing don't you? I just love music in general. This is, I know a winter scene. But I don't think of it that way. I just see the kids singing and having a good time. It reminds me of being in school and being in chorus.

I just love this stamp and don't you? It can be found at Stamp N Plus Scrap N. If you want to go right to it click here. If this section you will find a ton more of fun stamps. Stamp N Plus Scrap N has a wide variety of stamps for every personality.

I stamped this image on vellum and colored the back side with Stampin Up markers. I then mounted the vellum onto a coordinating orange and then onto the background paper. I added a few eyelets and a ribbon to finish it off.

As always I love to hear from you, so please leave a comment as to what you think. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.

Heritage always fun....

Heritage, what is yours? I have a ton of different parts to my heritage. They even have a show on TV that shows celebrities finding theirs. Here is a heritage that I love to color.

This is a great stamp from Stamp N Plus Scrap N.

You will find it in the Heritage Collection. Dexter Griffin is the designer of the collection.

This stamp is called Block Print Frame w/Image. I used the large size you will see that you can get this in several sizes. What I like about this is no one colors it the same way. Every time you see this stamp used it is in a different way.

I have noticed that the blog team has done a few in the Heritage Collection. So don't forget to go check out what the Stamp N Plus Scrap N Blog Team has come up with.

As always I love to hear from you so feel free to leave your comments.

Thanks you in Patti's Kids

Don't you just love spring and flowers? I do.....I just can't think about anything else right now. I know I should be doing some other cards for challenges but just can't. I don't want to see anything to do with winter. I just love the Patti's Kids line that you can find from Stamp N Plus Scrap N.

This stamp is called Amy & Rascal. There is a medium and large version of this. This is in the large one.

I colored Amy & Rascal with Copic markers and then cut her out. I added a few roses in a matching color and the card was finished.

I hope that you all are enjoying your spring. I am hoping to get more and more cards done in the next few weeks.

As always I love to hear from you so please, leave a message. Feel free to share my blog with your friends.

This is another friendship card. I wanted to make this one with the diagonal double pocket.
Directions for making this card can be found at Splitcoaststampers on the link above. It is easy and you will soon find that it will be on of your favorites to make.

With this card I used vellum to stamp the image on. I made a quick tag from my Sizzix machine and added a little jute cord. I then made a friendship card and added the flower.

Friends............

I was thinking of a really good friend of mine today. And how much I miss her. We used to get together all the time to scrapbook, but she moved to Arizona several years ago. I was also thinking that her daughter Gianna would be at the age that she would love to make cards. I really think that she would love this little guy. So this card is for Evelyn and Gianna!

I love browns (who Knew). So most of this card is in shades of brown to keep it simple and clean. I even used copper wire as an accent. I colored him with Copic markers and added a brad that says friends. The brad is close to the color of the roses.

This stamp is from Stamp N Plus Scrap N. They have so many varieties of stamps there. I am sure that you will find something that you just need to have. I have been on the design team for almost a year now. Stamp N Plus Scrap N just started a blog so stop on by and meet the blog team. Come back and visit the blog as there are new cards added daily. You won't want to miss when they introduce the rest of the design team.

Stamp N Plus Scrap N has a large variety of Iris Folding stamps as well as your traditional rubber stamps. They carry so many that you will have so much fun choosing.

I chose to do this card with a pink foil and and color the base of the goblet with Copics.

Blue Wedding

It is getting to be that time of year where everyone is getting married. I just love things outside of the box and this dress is definitely that.

This stamp is one of the Iris Folding Stamps from Stamp N Plus Scrap N. LuAnn has a wide variety of dress stamps you are bound to find a few that you just have to purchase. If Dresses aren't your thing there are so many other Iris folding stamps to choose from. More Iris Folding cards to come soon. Any requests????

This dress is done with a blue foil wrapping paper. I just love this color blue and it makes such a pretty dress.

Only a Dreamer...

Today is a day for day dreams. I have some and I hope that they come true. I created this card with a cute stamps from Stamp N Plus Scrap N.

She can be found in the Fantasy section or just click here for a fast link to her.

I stamped her with black ink and then colored her in with chalk. What you say, that doesn't' look like chalk. Well it is chalk mixed with paint to create a look of gloss. All I had to do was take a little bit of the colored that I wanted, put it onto a acrylic block and mix with white glossy paint. and wallah I was ready to color my image. I like to use an acrylic block for my paint pallet as it just wipes clean with a baby wipe.

Stamp N Plus Scrap N has the best chalks that I have ever worked with. LuAnn has come up with a powdered chalk called Chalk-Ah-Lot. There are so many ways to use these chalks with paint, glue, mixed with bubbles and more. They are so easy to use that you will never go back to the cake ones that you have to scratch at. There is a huge variety of colors that include fluorescent and metallic.

Now back to what I did with the rest of the card. I layered her on card stock with brads and added a flower and some beads. I like this clean and simple look.

Yes Only a Dreamer... Can Make Dreams Come True....

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look. I love to hear from you so please feel free to leave a comment.

Cup of tea anyone.......

Today is a overcast day, not much sun. On days like this I could drink pots and pots of coffee. Instead, today I had coffee in the morning and switched to tea this afternoon. Oh, the hubby bought me some good tea.

I made this card a while back but it is just too cute not to post here. I loved the rick rak on this card, it just added that needed touch.

This stamp is one one Patti's Kids from Stamp N
Plus Scrap N
. I wanted to keep it simple and clean. Pinks and oranges how cute they look together.

I have been a designer for LuAnn since last June so almost a year now. Stamp N Plus Scrap N has a large variety of stamps for every ones tastes. You can also find a great variety of Iris Folding stamps there too. I have added a link to the dresses they are very popular, and are easy to do.

Calla Lillies

Spring is here and I am so excited. I came home from Florida to see more of my flowers coming up in the yard. The tulips should be opening up this week. Wow is that early. I love flowers and saw so many beautiful flowers while in Florida. So flowers is the inspiration for this card.

Here is a simple but fun card. I used the same stamp to make the background as the main image. I used chalk to color the flowers and leaves.

As always I love to hear from you, so feel free to leave a message or even a question.

Thanks for stopping! Happy Stamping....

Goodbye Duluth...Hello Florida!

Tammy and Kathy in photo one. Russel and Mike in photo two. All for of us in the third photo. I am in the white and Mike in the brown. More fun photos to come.

As promised, I would write a little about my vacation. Also add a have a few photos of the fun I had. We decided to stay in Cocoa Beach for four nights. We had a great place on the Ocean. Our room was a bit large for just the two of us. It included 2 bedrooms, living room, dining room and full kitchen. Even the walk in closets in the bedrooms were huge. Our first day we walk to the Cocoa Beach Pier. It has lots of shopping and restaurants to choose from. I enjoyed peel and eat shrimp on the Ocean, wow! After our dinner at O Shucks, we moved onto the beach to walk back to the hotel. While walking we met a couple that we hung out with for a few days. I am very out going, so I challenged this woman to a race on the beach and we became friends. Kathy and Russel invited us to their favorite beach bar. The Florida hospitality was amazing. They purchased our apps and drinks, refusing us to help pay for anything. It was such a great time. We had to leave as it was getting dark and we still had a ways to walk to get to our hotel. While walking on the beach somehow we walked almost 2 miles past our hotel and had to walk it back on the street side. None of the hotel have names that can be seen from the beach. It was a great first day and night in Florida. We had a blast. So here is a few photos of Kathy, Russel, Mike and I. More to come this week on the rest of my vacation.
Now I will have to get busy on some vacation inspired cards. And of course the scrapbook pages will follow too. Thanks for stopping. Leave a message as I love to hear from you. Happy Stamping.....

To the beach I come...........

Well not yet but it is so close now. Still planning details of a trip. Going to see a rocket launching and hitting some flea markets. Looking forward to the warm sun at the ocean.

I am so in the mood for Spring and Summer themes. I can't even think about doing anything with winter right now.

As you can see from this card it is all about the beach. This Patti's kids has her pail, shovel and a umbrella to shade her from the sun. She has a nice sandy background I made with some textured paper. Added a pink ribbon to finish her off.

Are you wondering where you can get her or more of Patti's Kids stamps? Try Stamp N Plus Scrap N, they have 50 pages of choices for just this category. They have a nice variety of all kinds of themes.

As always I love to hear what you think, so please post a comment. Thanks for stopping and looking.

Polka Dot Girl

I wanted to play with my new markers and new stamps from Stamp N Plus Scrap N. So this is what I came up with. The girl is called Polka Dot Girl and the flowers are from the Mother's Day Set.

The girl and some flowers are popped up for added texture. I didn't want to add too much cause I wanted to focus on the markers.

I added corners from a corner rounding scissor that I have to finish the look. This is my second attempt with the markers so I hope that you like it.

Spring is finally here and I am so in the mood for it. It will be another great day in Northern Wisconsin. I have flowers coming up through the snow that I still have by my deck. I can so wait until next November to see it again. I really am not a fan of winter at all though the snow is pretty when it is fresh. This year was great though we had a very short winter cause it was nice in October and November and March was awesome.

I love to hear from you, so please leave me a message.

Happy Stamping....Tammy~

A quick note...

Just a quick note to say that my new Copics are here and maybe today I can play with them. Don't you all want to rush right over?

Copics.............

I have Stampin Up markers thinking that they are so great. I even was upset when my son used my markers to make a poster for school. I remember telling him that those markers are expensive and not for posters. That was years ago, and they still are great markers with lots of life in them.

I have been looking at some of the designs from other members of a design team that I am on. Most of them use Copics. Before this I had never heard of them. The coloring of there images is unbelievable. I had to see for myself. So, I broke down and purchased some Copics. But wow, love the Copics so much had to order some more. This is my first attempt at using my new markers. I gave the snowman a little blushed face. I like the way it turned out. I was able to stamp my image using a Ranger distress pad. I had some trouble with other stamp pads that I had. So yesterday, when I ordered a few more markers I ordered a Momento stamp pad too. I can't wait to get my new goodies.

The image here is a stamp from Stamp N Plus Scrap N. I colored him with Copic added a little fun flock, snowflake eyelets and lastly added a few snowflakes from my Sizzix machine. I used spray ink to create the splatter card stock in the background.

Speaking of Sizzix, I have almost everything a person could buy from Sizzix. I better not look into the Cricut.

Well once again, thanks for stopping by. I love to hear from you so please add a comment. Happy Stamping~! Tammy

Time to think.....

I have had to do some hard thinking in the last few days. I just lost my grandmother and am responsible for the service. It really makes you reflect on your own life and how short it really is.

This card is just a simple but fresh card done with chalk. I prefer the powdered chalk as it is wonderful to work with. Just stamp your image in versamark and apply the chalk with a cotton ball. I love all the soft pastel colors with the burgundy card stock frame.

It makes me smile as I think about standing in the ocean next month and enjoying the sites. I can see me in this card. Maybe I can even get a photo of me doing just this.

Thanks for stopping by and looking. As always, I love to hear from you. So please leave a message and tell me what you think. Happy Stamping, till next time....

Shoes can we ever get enough?

First I have to apologize that this card is not going in the right direction. I tried many times to fix it but just couldn't figure it out. It is right in my photo album in the computer. So today is another card with that beautiful blue wrapping paper. I promised shoes and here is a great shoe. Don't you just love the color. Again makes me think of the color of the ocean. This card is another Iris Folding card from Stamp N Plus Scrap N. I just love the Iris Folding line. To see some stamps from the line check out the site. You will find a great variety of stamps there.
It was another gorgeous day here in Wisconsin. It just makes you want to get out and enjoy it. I so am in the mood for nice weather. We still have a ton of snow in our yard, but I found that my day lilies are coming up right thought the ice. My son stopped by today with a great salad. I enjoyed eating it while sitting out on the deck. Hope you all are enjoying the nice weather. Spring really is in the air. Hope we don't see that white stuff falling from the sky again till next November.... unlike shoes we get enough of the snow.
Thanks for stopping by and as usual, I love to hear from you so feel free to leave me a comment. I love to have your thoughts and ideas. Happy Stamping.....Tammy

Beautiful Blue

Today I am so excited for my upcoming trip to Florida. I am planning where we will go and things we will be doing. I have tons of ideas, but one things is for sure we will be spending time at the beautiful blue ocean. We want to drive to the Keys, but have no plans for sure on that. It is quite the drive. Maybe a week won't be long enough.
Thinking about all the beautiful blue water that we will see is the inspiration for this card. I love the wrapping paper I used on this card.
This is one of my favorite stamps from the Stamp N Plus Scrap N line of Iris Folding stamps. I just love the dresses and the shoes. Speaking of shoes come back tomorrow for another look of this beautiful blue paper done in a shoe design.
As always thanks for stopping by and taking a look. I would love to know what you think, so please leave me a comment.

I am hoping for the color green soon....

As we get closer and closer to Spring I have the desire to see the color green more. For all that know me green isn't a color that I even like. But I sure like to see it outside. Green grass, green leaves, and green turtles. Yes turtles, I have a creek in the back yard so I have turtles and frogs in the backyard at times.

This turtle card is an Iris Folding card that I just had to do. He is too cute. If you think he is cute too you can find him at Stamp N Plus Scrap N.

I hope that we all get our little pieces of green soon. Don't forget to turn your clocks ahead on Sunday... Happy Stamping. Tammy :)

A precious baby card

So I wanted to do a card with a few different techniques. In this baby card you will find that I have Iris Folded the round part of the baby rattle. I mixed Chalk-Ah-Lot chalk with white paint and painted the bow and handle. I added a cute quilled baby rattle to the bottom for just a little extra touch.

The colors used in this card are nice cause they can be used for boy or girl. Make a few and have them on hand for the upcoming baby shower season.

You can find this stamp at Stamp N Plus Scrap N and you will find that Chalk-Ah-Lot chalk is the best chalk you have ever used. No more scrapping hard chalk so easy to use and so many ways to use it.

Thanks for stopping by and leaving a note. Please stop by again. Happy stamping. Tammy
